About Canatxx

Canatxx has been in operation in the UK for 15 years and our personnel have worked with industry leaders in gas and energy technologies globally. Founded in 1988, Canatxx has been at the forefront of adapting proven technologies in an innovative way. The emphasis has always been on designing and developing safe and progressive energy technologies and projects.

Much of the Preesall land owned by Canatxx is either farmed or used for recreation, including rambling, fishing and shooting. It is Canatxx's intention to continue to maintain and enhance the rural nature of the land.

Canatxx have recently received permission to build a Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) unloading terminal and regasification facility at Amlwch, Anglesey. This will be linked to the underground gas storage facility at Preesall.

The linkage between the Amlwch LNG terminal and the Preesall gas storage is unique and will greatly enhance the UK's ability to import gas from diverse sources.
